Good Evening Royal Court,
Great to see everyone again.
It was shocking to see some of the transformations happening, but it was just as amazing to see the veterans who have kept their weight off for so long. These are the real victors. They’ve learned ways and adapted methods to make sure that weight will NEVER be an issue for them again. Now how freeing is that!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to PENNY ELLISON for winning the question of the week. And thank you for being so generous with your Chava chocolate!!
Tonight’s Tip: SLOW DOWN
There is proven evidence that the speed at which we eat is directly related to obesity.
When you wolf down your food, it causes a hormone to be released (Ghrelin) which causes you to eat more, take longer to get full and to become hungry again much sooner. HMMMM.
When you eat slower and more consciously, it causes hormones to be released as well (PYY and GLP-1) which causes the body to become fuller faster and take longer to become hungry again.
Don’t you just love this!! By incorporating these tiny little eating habits, weight will NEVER again be an issue.
So remember to slow down while your eating. Allow yourself time to let your food do its job and trust that your body knows when enough is enough!!
