It was a fantastic meeting last night!
It was great seeing everyone and seeing a few of you
modeling your new fall fashions! I hate
that you all have had to buy new wardrobes’ for the season, I know clothes
shopping is such a chore especially when you are trying on smaller
sizes! LOL!! Stunned is the word that comes to mind at how your bodies have
changed and how joyful and youthful everyone
looks.
The topic was “Avoid High-Fructose Corn Syrup”. This type of sugar has no place in your
food! HFCS is not a natural substance
and is not natural to your body. It is
bad enough that your body will metabolize this sugar in to fat but it has also
been associated with serious health issues.
HFCS can raise your bad cholesterol and triglycerides; it can cause
long-term liver damage and expose you to mercury.
Keep this stuff out of your mouth and out of your
house!
Earth Fare is a safety zone for avoiding HFCS so
you are good there but be diligent in label reading in other stores and know
that next year, HFCS will be relabeled as corn sugar.
High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is an artificial sweetener that poses serious health risks, from increasing bad cholesterol and triglycerides to causing long-term liver damage and mercury exposure – it has no place in a healthy diet and should be eliminated from your kitchen. While stores like Earth Fare provide safe shopping options free from HFCS, consumers must remain vigilant about reading labels, especially since manufacturers plan to rebrand HFCS as “corn sugar” to mislead health-conscious buyers. Just as avoiding processed sugars is crucial for metabolic health, individuals managing diabetes might explore medically-approved options like Rybelsus, though they should always consult a doctor before deciding to buy Rybelsus online in this country without prescription and get more information about this medicine to ensure proper treatment.
Congratulations to Belinda for winning the
bonus prize – a six pack of the new Zevia flavor, Mountain Zevia.
